The work of a hole year in order to be part in the most difficult race in the world has been crowned with the definitive tenth position in the Side-by-Side category of the Dakar Rally 2022.
David Zille next to Sebastian Cesana as a co-driver achieved an auspicious debut in the mythical competition that took placed in Saudi Arabia during the first days of this year.
Driving a Canam Maverick X3 of Southracing Team they made a great job from minor to major to be able to get among the best of the planet in a highly competitive category. The driving of Zille Rally crew during the race was up to the circumstances and just an electrical flaw during two stages, and an accident on the second day in the dunes, forced the squad to make even more effort to come back from de 37th place to the top ten, showing that the speed and rhythm necessary to run this class of race is present.
David Zille: ”It was a tough race, we are so happy that we could end it the way that we did it fulfilling our objectives that we made previously to the event. It was a dream come true”
Sebastian Cesana: “The competition did not give us a break. Everyday something different happened but we could finish in the top ten of our category so we are so happy for that”
From Zille Rally we want to thank everyone that support us during this project, the sponsors that believe in our capacities, without them this couldn´t be possible, and we want to thank to all the people from 25 de Mayo, La Pampa and Neuquén the encouraged us to end our first Dakar in the best way it could be.
