The 25 de Mayo driver, faces a new challenge in the most difficult race in the world. It will be his third participation after having finished in the top ten in 2022 within the T4 category and having managed to win stage number 9 in the last edition already within the major division of the SSV in the competitive T3.
With Sebastián Cesana from Cordoba as codriver, Zille aspires to be the protagonist in the Challenger category (ex T3) on a Can-Am Maverick XRS Turbo assisted by South Racing Can Am, the most experienced team in the division.
Zille comes from competing in the World Rally Raid which allowed him to add kilometers and experience on all types of terrain. In Mexico he had the pleasure of winning stage number 5, this achieving victory for the second time against the best in the world on a World Cup date. In the Desafío Ruta 40, the result was not what was expected, but he proved to be at the pace of the leaders and in Morocco he finished in 5th place after having overcome some problems and tire punctures that delayed him.
His beginnings in enduro and motocross cemented David’s path to cross country. In 2021, Zille won the Road to Dakar award after standing out in the Andalucía Rally alongside Bruno Jacomy from Mendoza. Since then, Sebastián Cesana joined the team and his collaboration has been key to continue progressing in the activity.
Now a new challenge is coming. David Zille is preparing to conquer the Dakar 2024 in an adventure that begins next January 5 and with renewed expectative.
